The Master degree programme of the University shall extend over a period of at least three (03) semesters and a maximum of eight (08) semesters (i.e., maximum four years duration from the date of 1st registration). A total of 30 credit hours are required to complete the Master Degree Programme. Atleast 50% marks in UET GAT (General) test is required to apply for admission in MSc. UET GAT Test is valid for two semesters.
- Masters Degree admissions are carried out twice a year i.e. Fall and Spring semesters.
- Candidates must have bachelor degree in a relevant Engineering discipline registered with PEC OR 16 years of education for Non-Engineering disciplines from HEC recognized institution.
- Candidates must pass University internal GAT(General) or GRE International test with atleast 50% marks for MSc admission. And 60% marks in GAT(General) for Ph.D Admissions

Interested candidates must pass UET GAT General Test. To apply for GAT test as per above schedule, visit UET website.
After qualifying the test, candidate must submit admission form for MSc/PhD at UET website http://enggentrancetest.pk. Candidates who applied for MSc programs, their merit will be determined on the basis of GAT General Test Marks as per schedule given above.
